ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – The Kurdistan Region Security Council’s (KRSC) police forces (Asayish) on Monday announced the arrest of two suspects linked to the explosion at the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Iran (KDP) headquarters.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – In a statement on Wednesday, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) strictly condemned the twin explosions in Erbil that killed seven and injured three people.
A twin bomb attack on the headquarters of an Iranian Kurdish party based in northern Iraq has killed seven people. It is unclear who is behind the attack, but signs point to Iran.

On December 17, 1945, the PDKI overtook the last Iranian military barrack in Mahabad and raised the Kurdish flag. The Peshmerga Forces of Kurdistan was officially founded on the same day.
